Seriously though...
I have realized that if our class, if Visual Advocacy were the entire political body, were divided into left and right wingers, I'd be on the right. However, in the world beyond the classroom I'm way left. What does that mean? Is this revelation pointless? I suppose then, that my status quo is not the average status quo. That means no ciggies and no SUVs. Ok. I've cornered myself (insert a shrug, a grimmace, and furrowed brow)! I dunno what I am trying to say. It's just that all of our debates in class, though they draw "battle lines," make pretty vague distinctions. I'm so frustrated. All this gray is too blurry. I think I want black and white. Distinctions make me comfortable. So, where is that graphic design security blanket? I sure need it.
