Germany

I saw the flyers around..called "What happens in Weimar, stays in Weimar"..hmmm..really?

After I was reading No Logo, and I think it is the second reading we are supposed to read,

I like to talk to you guys how the AMERICAN CULTURE effects Europe, specially in Germany.

I stayed in Swaebisch Hall, Sounthern Germany for almost six months and it was a really good experience.

Everyday when I turned on the TV - to learn some of the Deutsch..never ever really got it - but MTV was always playing American pop songs, always! and everyone that I got to know was talking about the American celebrities-how they live, relationships to whom. blah, blah~ even I noticed that every stores I go I only heard Britney Spears and Usher. Every young people were super excited to go to their concerts and I think Usher came to Germany almost once a month (the song 'YEAH" was really really popular!)

The point that I like to address is that the power of American Consumerism and Culture is bigger than we know.

And the design responsibility gets more serious..don't you think?...yeah!
