Am I in middle school again? While reading this I feel as though I'm in middle school, a time when when all the cool kids had the latest pair of "Air Jordans" and other brands like Fila and LA Gear were is in style. Unfortunately for me my mom would not buy me Jordans so I was that kid who came to school in puma's which as I look back, were pretty hip I just didn't know it at the time.
My point is that even though styles have changed it's still "cool" to be the kid with the hottest pair of sneakers and fresh clothes. For me however, I have grown into a woman that wears what I want when I want no matter what the latest trend is. I'm comfortable enough with myself that I don't need the most expensive clothes and shoes. Besides, you can get those pair of BCBG shoes at Marshall's for half the price you would pay in the actual store.
