Bla, Bla, Bla
Really, tell me something I don't know. By now everyone should be considered cool, with the way styles come and go and companies are constantly rebranding themselves. We've all had the opportunity to be cool at some point. The question is why do we care so much what people think or how they look, what there're wearing. It seems to me that you'll get further by just being yourself.
On the other hand I can understand why there are these style hunters out there. However, I find it far more interesting to look at styles in other countries more so then what happening here in the US. Not to say that there aren't really savvy style trends in the US I just think that in order to really promote a certain trend it's wise to research outside the realm of the familar.
The section in this reading that's talking about the "Rock-and-Roll CEO's is really interesting to me because it would seem that once you're at that age you would be completely settled into yourself. As I grow older I've found that while you're in your twenties you're really just finding yourself and as you settle into your thirties you become more comfortable with who you are.
