Project THREE Overview

"After Hard Lessons, a New Game Plan for Huricane Seasons"

I found this particular article in the National portion of the New York Times. Its main focus was the plans for the upcoming hurricane season. They are needing a better action plan for when these storms hit the coastal areas in the south. I found it interesting that the ideas are mostly focused around reloacting large amounts of people. The main ones that are being looked at very closely are the ones that are living in mobile homes. They are the ones that would be forced to leave even if a tropical storm was in affect. It was mentioned that they do not want this project to overshadow the recovery efforts that are still in play from last years devastating Hurricane Katrina, showing that is still the overall main focus, but then aslo realizing that something like that can happen again and thusly being more prepared for the season.
