Here is an article that covers some of what I was talking about with my manifesto. Someone went out and interviewed a few fine artists and commercial artists asking them what they thought about commercial work against fine art. A few points that I made in my manifesto are present in here.
They also talk about the new digital medium and whether or not that is a good thing for artists these days.
