- 5 minutes to set-up project 1 (as needed).
- 5 minutes to listen to your classmate set up their project (as needed).
- 20 minutes for project one written critique.
- 10 minute break.
- 5 minutes to set-up project 2 (as needed).
- 5 minutes to listen to your classmate set up their project (as needed).
- 20 minutes for project two written critique.
- 10 minute break.
- 30+ minutes for final group discussion.
critique details
- make "VA project 1" and "VA project 2" posts on your own blogs so your classmates can comment.
- use the sidebar links here to access their blog and post your critique as a comment under the appropriate post title.
- structure your comments to generally address how well the work does the following:
- demonstrates understanding of design's role in the topic (its power to persuade or inform)
- advocates for the client/content
- demonstrates critical thinking and a perspective on the topic, either through visuals or text
- presents the content in a visually engaging manner
- is formed to fit a particular context (public, private, screen, outdoor, etc)
- shows careful attention to craft
- any other comments/suggestions you'd like to add
turn in
all projects need to be ready to turn in as printed pieces or digital files. it is your responsibility to get all print files directly into my hands and digital files on my CAS public folder by the end of friday's class period. print projects will be returned to your studio space on friday may 15.
