Aaron and Erin are ages 18-24
They either attend college or are recently graduated.
They are searching for careers while working a part-time job.
They are searching for a prospective lifestyle while living at home, an apartment or a house/loft.
What this target market needs:
•Give me something new and fresh. Sell me an idea of a lifestyle that I find desirable for my near future.
•I want the best but only have the income for what's affordable.
•I want to be related to. And I want to relate to the great jobs and amazing downtown loft living.
•I want to be emersed in it all, be where it all is.
•I will buy into the ccreative, independent, and fast paced.
•I spend on things for myself that I may not need but find refreshing and beneficial to my lifestyle.
•I am always on the move and constantly have a list of things to accomplish.
•I like to hang out with friends, go to parties and drink occasionally.
Aaron and Erin's demographic is perfect for a new and innovative product, something to keep up with the fast paced life style they lead. They want color and sleek design, maximum user effeciency and something that makes a statement about who they are at the moment. They need something with all of these traits that will not break their budget and that will last. The product should last because at this influential stage we should be selling them on brand loyalty.

Aaron & Erin...what a pair! They are up and coming, seeking to be on top of their game, just as they should be seeking products that represents that. As a designer these are the clients we all want. They are open to ideas and don't have a pre-judged perception about various products. As i feel that i am close to being an "Aaron/Erin" myself, putting yourself into theirs shoes comes at ease, but how is it for the older generation that yurns for product design that reliable but still cutting edge. This is a risk all designers must think about. It is very similar to what Heidi Klum says in Project Runway..."you're either in, or you're out!" When the designers go out on a limb they are risking keeping a classic stable basic look, for a design that is new and original. Design is a game of chance, either you're in or you're out!
